How can ERP data be transformed into valuable digital twins? From April 20 to 24, 2026, PFALZKOM and Proalpha will be demonstrating what the industrial future looks like at the SmartFactory-KL stand at the Hannover Messe (Hall 13, C35).

Efficiency along the supply chain

The joint offering focuses on the creation of digital twins based on ERP production orders. By using the Asset Administration Shell (AAS for short), interoperable data exchange is made possible that meets the complex requirements of a Digital Product Passport (DPP), among other things.

Secure infrastructure meets process expertise

While Proalpha builds the logical bridge for data exchange with its REST framework, PFALZKOM provides the technical infrastructure for the solution:

  • Hosting of the technical infrastructure of the digital twin in the highly secure Data Centers of PFALZKOM.
  • Ensuring access authorizations and connection to the ERP.
  • Advice on server infrastructure and firewall strategies for maximum security.

The cooperation, which was established within the SmartFactory-KL network, demonstrates in a practical way how research activities (e.g. Factory-X and data rooms) are already making the ERP system of tomorrow fit for the digital transformation today.
