For our customers, digital communication platforms are an elementary way to stay in contact with partners, employees and customers and to work efficiently. This trend towards digital services has not just picked up speed since the start of the pandemic in 2020. Video conferencing solutions such as BigBlueButton or the file management tool NextCloud are open source applications that we operate as SaaS offerings in the Rhine-Neckar Data Center in compliance with the GDPR and are in particularly high demand from municipal institutions. In the public sector, solutions from the public cloud are out of the question for data protection reasons.
